The interior angle sum of triangles and finding the missing angle in a triangle.

Find the missing angles in triangles.

I will be teaching you today about finding the missing angle in triangle.

First of all you need to know that the sum of the angles in a triangle always add up to 180 degrees.

Most of the time they represent the missing number with with a letter such as x.

Bh represent base and height of a triangle.

First of all you add up the all ready given angles of the triangle then find the sum that's missing will be the angle.

Multiplying Numerators and Denominators

           Multiplying Numerators & Denominators.

Here is an example: 6/7  x  14/18 = 2/3

Now I will show you how to work it out.

So find out if 6 & 18 have any of the same multiples.

Well hopefully you found out that they both have a multiple of 6. Now you have to find out how many 6's go into 6 and 18. So then cross out 6 and 18 and you should be putting a 1 and 3 where the 6 and 18 used to be.

Now do the same on the other side with the 14 and the 7.

So your equation should look like this:

Now that you know what the equation should look like, all you have to do is multiply the 1 and 2 which is 2, then 1 and 3 which equals 3.

So the answer is 2/3

Now I will show u some more examples.

Random Ratios

                                 RANDOM RATIOS

This week we are learning about ratios.

For those of you that don't know what ratios are we will explain in the video below.
