What Is It?
Finding Fractions, Decimals & Percentages Of Given Amounts is finding that fraction, decimal or percentage of a number.
How To Work It Out
Percentage:
75% of 28?
First you work out 50%(half) of 28.
Which is 14.
Now you work out the last 25% of 75.
So find 10% of 28 which is 2.8 and multiply it by 2 to make 20%.
Which is 5.6.
Now you have to work out 5%.
So halve 10%(2.8) which is 1.4.
Now add the three numbers together.

21.0
Decimal:
0.6 of 80?
First you change the decimal to a percentage which is 60%.
Then find 10% of 80 which is 8 then multiply 8 by 6 to make 80%.
So your answer is 48!
Fraction:
2/7 of 35?
First you divide your number (in our case it is 35) by the denominator which is 7.
35 divided by 7 = 5
Multiply your answer by 2 because it is 2/7 which makes your answer 10!
